After the whole incident that his wife found out that he cheated I can really see him that he is trying his most hardest to make up for what happened although his wife has forgiven him. Tony just really wants to show his whole family that he cares for them so much & he wants them to know that he’ll always put them first & not do anything selfish again.

Other than that Tony seems to be loving life, built a holiday home in Spain for his family, has grandchildren & is still doing his dream job ever since he was 7. Cab driver.

Iv’e always thought that Neil was a boring character of the 7 up series. And Susan. I don’t really understand him, that is probably why i think he’s boring. When i first watched him at age 7 he seemed like a happy, bubbly kid. But as he grew older & older I found him getting sadder. Although he has been through a lot like going through the rejection of not getting into Oxford & becoming homeless at age 28. Where was his family?

In this episode of 56 up he still seemed sad. I would have thought that he would of gotten over him self already, but clearly not. Neil seemed like a smart man but lacked of motivation & he just went with the flow.

Still not sure about Neil.

Nick 49UP

Nick, was always asked since he was 7 whether he wanted a girlfriend or not. And he’d always reply with the same answer, “I don’t answer questions like that” with a slight chuckle.

At one point of his life he met a lady named Jackie & had a son, Adam. Later was divorced 6 years later & Nick described it was like death.

Nick loves teaching, he is always trying to find out ways to make his lectures more interesting & fun for his students.

Then one day his dreams were crushed.

I want to be a jockey!

The next person I am going to talk about is Tony Walker.

He lived in the East End of London & growing up he was a cheeky boy with a lot of confidence. At age 14 I thought he was a complete different person, I found him very morose compared to how he was at age 7. I wonder why he was feeling like that at that time, was it a teenage thing? Tony left school at age 14 and was an apprentice jockey at the horse stables in the East End of London.

Age 21, go asked a question saying “What are you going to do if becoming a jockey fails?” he replied with the a straight answer saying “A taxi driver”. At this stage i see him getting more confident & talkative, way past his 14 year old ‘I’m so awesome stage’.

28 years of age, given up on horse racing, did what he wanted and became a taxi driver in London. Also owned his own cab. You could really see his personality shine through him at this stage, always happy & being out going. In the midst of driving cabs he also took occasional acting classes & appeared on the London television show ‘The Bill’. Around this time he got married to his wife Debbie and had 2 children originally 3 but unfortunately the baby died. Tony’s wife seems very loyal and always thinking of others rather than her self. A little bit before that, at age 25 both his parents passed away, he said he gets a little emotional just thinking about them & wishes they were still here.

The year 1983 they moved to Woodford, Essex.

Age 42 was when his appearance rapidly changed. I’ve noticed from age 7 on wards he received so much more confidence! Also he seems like a very ambitious person & he’s really happy with it, having his wife and 2 kids. Tony has set a lot of goals for him self & is always determined to achieve them and if he didn’t achieve them it looks like he always has another back up plan.

I can say from watching this video, that he is very keen to do everything at the best of his ability.

Symon, from age 7 to 42

Symon at age 7 was a shy little boy growing up, had the feeling of being left out being the poor kid & living in a charity home. The interviewer asked him, “what do you think about rich people?”, he didn’t think much of them at age 7.

Simon got asked the same question again, but now at age 14. Still shy but a little more talkative, he said regarding to the question “All i want is a bike or a fishing rod, nothing fancy”.As he gets older i see him gaining more confidence in himself, easy going, but still carrying the hurt when his father left his mother & himself.

Simon, at age 21 working in a sausage freezer room, obviously still not sure what he wants to do with his life & who he is. And still living with his mother & wanting to learn a trade. AT age 28, married to Yvonne & now has 5 children.

Finally at age 42, happily married to Vienetta. Now has a 4 year old son, named after his father. Has a qualification GGSC maths, with the help of motivation from his wife. He has really become energetic & easy going towards things. The interviewer asked him about his father, again. And responds “I never wanted to see him again, but now i do just out of curiosity, my anger towards him has now turned into boredom”.

Now all he wants to do is be the best father & husband he can be and to never turn out like his father.
